Junior Compliance Officer

Job Description

As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will be a part of our Manila Team, reporting to bluedog's Chief Operating Officer.

Your main objective is to advise members of the business on compliance matters. Researching and understanding changes in legislation, and how they would affect the business. Remediating and reviewing KYC files, and obtaining necessary documentation. Being involved in compliance monitoring, audits, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and update existing work policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure departments meet compliance requirements.
• Facilitate internal audits on a regular basis and ensure outcomes are tracked and documented accordingly.
• Work with External Auditors during scheduled audits and compliance-related activities.
• Submit reports on a regular basis in terms of findings and other pertinent items relating to compliance.
• Other duties as required by the company.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 1-2 years compliance-related experience working in an agile development environment.

Technical Skills. You should be proficient in the following areas:

• Strong communication skills within bluedog and its internal and external customers to resolve issues.
• Solid grasp of ISO27001 requirements and have a good understanding on how these and corporate policies can be implemented within digital development environment.
• Exceptional ability to formulate compliance policies, procudures, and other related documentation.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and is likewise able to translate effectively to his/her colleagues.
• Must be fluent in English and Filipino; both written and spoken.
