Bluedog’s services are now available to businesses in the Gulf for the first time following the appointment of our new distributor in the region.
Clouds Dubai is a leading value-added distributor of cybersecurity, cloud and backup products and services, with a track record for launching new security solutions in the Middle East. The company will initially offer two bluedog services.
Microsoft Office 365 monitoring – our low-cost ‘work from home’ solution – allows companies with remote workers to protect data and monitor productivity and is the only service of its type that is overseen by a live cybersecurity team.
Meanwhile the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) service helps businesses to comply with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2 or PCI-DSS by giving them access to bluedog cybersecurity experts to ensure they have the right controls in place.
Aji Joseph, Sales Director of Clouds Dubai, said they could help companies in the region to overcome some key challenges. “Businesses in the Gulf are major users of Microsoft 365. With the sudden move to home working, bluedog’s monitoring service makes sense for almost all of them. It allows them to see what is going on within their network, identify any breaches and provides a rapid response,” he explained.
“Many companies are also aiming to achieve security standards such as ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS. With the shortage of cybersecurity skills in the region and the cost of hiring trained professionals, the vCISO service offers a more realistic solution by providing expert advice to help businesses achieve accreditation and maintain it going forward.”
bluedog aims to make security monitoring services affordable for businesses of all sizes. Co-founder Paul Lomax said: “With the growth of commerce in the Gulf region, it is an exciting time for businesses. The partnership with Clouds Dubai will make our services available to support local businesses, and is an important step for bluedog too as we continue to expand our network of distributors worldwide.”
